How to make online payment for the Electricity Bills in North Delhi.

I have been using online payment from a long time but still some time i feel its slightly difficult, because you may find the various payment option, because these payment option like Bill Desk, Payumoney, Paytm, etc offers various discounts and to find the best discount for yourself is also needs some time.

I have a connection of TPDDL (Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited) at my house, where i have applied to send the bill by email to contribute for saving the environment, this gives me the advantage of finding my bill in the email whenever i like to pay online my bill, because when you start paying you need CA number, your email ID and mobile number, the CA number is available on your bill. You can reconcile the bill amount before making the payment. You can find the payment link also in your bill, so no need to go to google to find the link of TPDDL website.

Step-1 Check your email and in the bottom you will find the payment link, i have shown it with arrow. You will find the bill attached below in the email.

Step 2 - You will be taken to the following link

and the page will be shown like given below:

In this page you will have to fill the CA No., which is given on your bill, rest your mobile number and email id to get the receipt of the payment. To move further you have to fill the code give at the bottom, this code verifies that you are a human and not a robot. Click the box at the bottom that i accept terms and conditions and then press the button of pay now.

Step 3 - You will see the last 3 payment details in the next screen, you may simply check and press the proceed button.

Step 4 - Now you will get the payment screen where you have to choose the payment mode, i normally do it with net banking, but you can pay with credit card/debit car, cash cads / wallet,

There are 4 options to make the payment through net banking, Bill Desk, Payumoney, Bill Junction and paytm. You may chose payumoney and paytm as they offer some discount, but you need to create a log in and the money which you will get will not be more then Rs.50, that also will come in the wallet. So i dont do that and pay by bill desk. Now add your billing amount and press pay now.

Step 4 - Once you press the button pay now you will be taken to the payment link as below. You can choose the bank and proceed further and press make payment.

Step 5 - Now you will reach to your banks login page, as i have a SBI account so the page will be like as given below

Step 6 - After login, your bank will ask to confirm the payment and will send you the OTP (one time password) on your registered mobile number, which you have to enter on the screen asked for OTP.
once your payment is approved by bank you will again redirected to TPDDL website where you will find your receipt for the payment which you cna save on the computer or you can print and keep it for your record.

This is the procedure of making the online electricity bill payment in north delhi.
